När jag äntligen kom till NUS (Sjukhuset i Umeå) efter en jobbig resa så var det första jag frågade om det fanns nån extra mjuk madrass till sängen. Och det fanns det. Vilken lättnad.

I början tyckte jag det var väldigt jobbigt att komma till Umeå. J kunde inte vara med mig så mycket då han var tvungen att vara hemma och sköta L + att det var massa saker som skulle fixas hemma. Städa, tvätta, fixa vardagsrummet och massa andra praktiska saker.
Sen kändes det också som att dom inte hade samma koll och jag var rädd att ingen skulle se över mina prover osv. Men jag lugnade ner mig när jag fick veta att det var min ordinarie läkare som jag gått hos i 7 år, som höll koll på mig och mina mediciner.

Andra natten så fick jag upp 38.7 i temp och nya odlingar gjordes. Fick även sätta in antibiotika intravenöst. Det kändes tungt.
Dagarna gick långsamt. Avdelningen var liten så jag gick runt runt runt i cirklar kändes det som. Jag hade knappt nåt att sitta på förutom en vanlig stol. Men jag kunde inte sitta på den nån längre stund pga ryggen. Till slut lyckades jag tjata till mig en fåtölj. Det var inte heller skön, men den gick iaf sitta i.

 Fick åka hem på permis 2 gånger och det var väldigt skönt. Få lite miljöombyte. Men samtidigt gick det inte slappna av. Jag kollade mycket på klockan för jag visste att jag var tvungen att åka tillbaka. Kunde vara hemma mellan efter att jag fått antibiotikan vid kl15 och var tvungen att vara tillbaka innan kl 20 då kvällsmedicinen skulle tas. Så jag hann väl vara hemma ca 3 timmar.

6 dagar fick jag stanna på sjukhuset och allt som allt blev det 16 dagar. Fast 1 dag var den dagen jag blev inringd och bara väntade på att bli opererad.
Har precis tittat tillbaka på alla bilder som är tagna, och jag ser inte glad ut på typ nån bild. Allt kändes väldigt jobbigt. Men jag minns inte att det skulle ha varit sådär hemskt som jag ser ut att ha det.

 

På IVA och första besöket. Jag var vaken och sov om vartannat men blundade nog större delev av tiden.

Magen dag 6. Väldigt svullen och utspänd. Vägde nog som mest här med nästan 10 kg extra

Nu har jag landat hemma. Proverna ser jättefina ut. Har fått minska mycket mediciner och läkarna är mycket nöjda. Jag har fortfarande ont i ryggen och förstår inte varför. Ibland känns det som att det kommer från revbenen. Ska prata med min läkare på måndag då vi ska ses.

Jag promenerar ca 2x15 min /dag och gör ben och armövningar. Aptiten är fortfarande inte på topp och jag har inte lyckats gå upp nåt kilo än. Jag såg mig själv i en helkroppsspegel häromdagen och upptäckte att jag blivit väldigt mager. Har inte tänkt på det, men såg det i spegeln. Byxorna som hängde bak i rumpan. Jag måste försöka pressa  i mig mer mat.
På söndag fyller jag år!! Så jag har bestämt att vi ska äta 2 rätters på lördag. Förrätten blir räkor, rom, rödlök, creme fraishe och västerbottenostflarn. Och till varmrätt ska vi grilla. Längtar!

På söndag, många och tisdag blir det lite kalas. Jag kommer knappt ha nåt att bjuda på. Har kvar lite chokladbollar och kex sen L fyllde år. Sen har min sötaste syster bakat några kladdkakor åt mig som jag kan bjuda på :)

Jag orkar inte ha allt kalas på en dag, utan vill att några kommer åt gången. Det blir så mycket annars och jag kanske måste vila lite då min rygg inte riktigt pallar att sitta på vanliga stolar längre stunder.

 

I år önskar jag mig ingenting när jag fyller år. Jag har fått den finaste presenten jag kunde få. Ett nytt liv. Jag är så glad och tacksam.

Ändå har jag fått en annan väldigt uppskattad present. Vi ska få hjälp att måla om och tapetsera en fondvägg i vardagsrummet. Och då kommer vi även köpa nya möbler så det mesta kommer bli nytt. Det känns fantastiskt. Längtar redan
